Villa description
This beautiful private villa, Les Arcs, offers luxurious and very comfortable accommodation. It is situated on a quiet lane in the small country village of Torret, nestled in the heart of the countryside on a large plot providing peace, quiet and tranquillity and yet is within walking distance of three excellent restaurants.
There is a large circular driveway providing ample parking for several cars. You enter the villa via a hallway and then the large living room, with its high beamed ceiling, ceiling fan and wood-burning stove. There are large comfortable sofas and chairs, and a coffee table.
To the left of the living room are two of the bedrooms: one twin bedroom and a double with sofa and patio doors providing access to the beautiful garden. Both these bedrooms have wardrobes, ceiling fans and air conditioning as well as ensuite bathrooms with a bath with shower over, sink, bidet and WC.
To the right of the living room is the open plan kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has a gas hob with five rings, large electric oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, small fridge and all the crockery, utensils and equipment necessary for the family self-catering holiday. It has a filter tap allowing guests to drink water straight from the source rather than having to rely on bottled water. From the dining area is a utility room with washing machine, sink and large fridge freezer.
Leading from the dining area is a TV room with large comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with IPTV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer, as well as a DVD. Wifi internet and a Sonos sound system are available throughout the house.
Along a corridor here you find two further bedrooms, both with double beds, fully fitted wardrobes, high ceilings and air-conditioning. One of the doubles has its own shower room next door with large walk-in shower, sink, bidet and WC. The other bedroom has an ensuite shower room with a large shower, sink, bidet and WC.
From the entrance hallway is a small cloakroom with sink and WC and stairs leading up to the master bedroom. This has a beautiful four-poster bed, TV, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. There is a dressing area and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, and two vanity units.
Patio doors from the living room and kitchen lead to a beautiful terrace, equipped with a large portable gas barbecue, chairs for relaxing in a shaded area and a large table for alfresco dining which can comfortably seat 12. From the terrace are views of the lawned areas with two pergolas providing privacy away from the villa.
The pool with roman steps is a generous 16.6×5.8m and is hidden from the house, at the very end of the garden, so provides privacy should you want it. The tiled pool terrace has room for sun loungers, a fixed table tennis table and there is also a covered barbecue area with fridge, sink and work top for food preparation. The wifi and Sonos sound system from the house reaches this area.
Torret is an excellent choice for those visitors who wish to feel like they are in the middle of nowhere and yet have supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and beaches within a very short distance by car.
For the 2019 season, all rentals will include maid service and linen change every 3/4 days.

About Torret
The hamlet of Torret is a largely residential area notably for its narrow stone-walled lanes and a sleepy atmosphere which has hardly changed in hundreds of years. There are farms, rustic old cottages and, surprisingly, it is home to two of the island’s best restaurants. Though tucked out of the way, Torret is handily close to the south-east beaches as well as the town of Sat Lluis. The closest beach is at Alcaufar
