Villa Buenaventura Port Addaya

Villa Buenaventura is an attractive and spacious two-storey villa in the lovely harbour resort of Port Addaya, close to and with superb views of the marina.

Its light and airy accommodation offers four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It has a lovely south-facing swimming pool area and fantastic views of the marina and estuary.

The entrance to the villa is either up a set of outdoor steps that lead to the swimming pool terrace, where the front door is located; or through the private garage (which is beneath the house) which has a lift entering directly into the entrance hall.

From the entrance hall, to the right, is the spacious kitchen. The windows on all of the three walls let in plenty of natural light and offer views over the pool terrace and also over the harbour. The kitchen is equipped with a double-door fridge-freezer, electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher and microwave. There are fitted base and wall cupboards and the kitchen has all the crockery, glassware, cutlery, cookware and utensils necessary for the self-catering holiday. There is also a small kitchen table that seats four.

Next to the kitchen there is a small utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are portable clothes lines and a rotary line in the garden.

To the left from the entrance hall is the open plan dining/living area which has two sets of French doors leading out on to the pool terrace, letting in lots of natural light and offering great views over the pool and the harbour. The large dining room table seats up to eight people. The living area is divided into two seating areas: one facing the pool with a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table; while the other is in the far corner of the room, with two sofas facing a flat-screen TV. The TV is connected to a satellite dish and a Sky box and there is also a DVD player. The dining/living area has ceiling fans and built-in air conditioning.

On the other side of the dining/living area, there is a set of glass doors that lead off to a small, shady outdoor dining area, with a table seating eight. There is also a separate WC.

There is a bedroom on the ground floor, accessed directly from the living area. It has a double bed, a fitted wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with shower, and double doors leading to the rear dining area. It has a ceiling fan and air conditioning.

Stairs lead to the upper level where the other three bedrooms are located. One is the master bedroom with double bed, a walk-in wardrobe and its own private terrace with stunning views over the harbour and estuary, plus an ensuite bathroom with shower.

The other upper-floor bedrooms are each equipped with single beds and fitted wardrobes, and French doors out on to a shared balcony with estuary views. Each of these bedrooms has ensuite facilities – one has a shower and the other a small bath with shower over. All of bedrooms have ceiling fans and built-in air conditioning.

The villa boasts several different outside areas where you can relax, dine, enjoy the sun or find a shady spot. Firstly, there is the main terrace, at the front of the house, overlooking the scenic harbour. Here you will find the 8x4m private pool with roman-step access, sunbeds, a dining table that seats up to eight people, as well as a seating area with a coffee table. There is a large gas barbecue, perfect for summer al fresco dining. To the rear of the house, in addition to the second outdoor dining area, there is a small rock garden with a table and chairs surrounded by trees and bougainvillea; the perfect place for some peace and quiet.
