Villa Cascada Port Addaya

Casa Cascada is an attractive and spacious detached two-storey villa located in the lovely harbour resort of Port Addaya on Menorca’s dramatic north coast.

Cascada has an enviable location overlooking the picturesque yacht marina and estuary. Its light and airy accommodation comprises four ensuite bedrooms – two of the bedrooms have double beds and two have a pair of single beds. The standard occupancy is for eight people. It has a lovely south-facing infinity swimming pool area.

The entrance to the villa is via steps from the road up to the swimming pool terrace, beyond which the front door is located.

From the entrance hall, to the right, is the spacious kitchen, which is light and airy and which offers views over the pool terrace to the harbour. The kitchen is equipped with a double-door fridge-freezer, electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher and microwave. There are fitted base and wall cupboards and the kitchen has all the crockery, glassware, cutlery, cookware and utensils necessary for a self-catering holiday. There is also a small kitchen table that seats four.

Next to the kitchen there is a small utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There are portable clothes lines and a rotary line in the garden.

To the left from the entrance hall is the open-plan dining/living area, which has two sets of french doors leading out on to the pool terrace, letting in lots of natural light and offering great views over the pool and the harbour. The large dining room table seats up to eight.

The living area is divided into two seating areas: one facing the pool, with a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table; the other in the far corner of the room, with two sofas facing a flat-screen TV. The TV is connected to satellite and there is also a DVD player. The dining/living area has ceiling fans and built-in air conditioning.

On the other side of the dining/living area, there is a set of glass doors that lead off to a small, shady outdoor dining area, with a table that seats four.

The stairs lead to the upper level where three of the bedrooms are located. The fourth bedroom is accessed directly from the dining/living area. It has a double bed, a fitted wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with shower and double doors leading to the rear dining area. It has a ceiling fan and built-in air conditioning.

On the upper level there is the master bedroom and two further bedrooms. The air-conditioned master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, a walk-in wardrobe and a terrace with stunning views over the harbour and estuary.

Air-conditioned bedroom three has twin single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom four also has aircon and has twin single beds and a large bathroom with a bath and shower, and a private terrace also, located at the rear of the house.

The villa boasts several outside areas where you can relax, dine, enjoy the sun or find a shady spot. Firstly there is the main pool terrace with its 8x4m infinity swimming pool. Here you will find sunbeds, a dining table seating up to eight, and a seating area with a coffee table. There is a large gas barbecue, perfect for summer dining. To the rear of the house, in addition to the second outdoor dining area, there is a small rock garden with a table and chairs surrounded by trees and bougainvillea; the perfect place for some peace and quiet.
