Apartment description
Our Alta Galdana two-bedroom apartments are situated right in the heart of the wonderful Menorcan resort of Cala Galdana, only steps away from bars, restaurants and shops and less than five minutes walk away from the glorious beach.
The complex comprises 35 apartments distributed through five separate buildings surrounding a communal swimming pool and sun terrace.
Each of the apartments offers simple accommodation with two bedrooms, one with a double bed (and space for a cot if required) and one smaller room equipped with two single beds. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans. The separate bathroom has a WC, vanity basin and ‘half bath’ with shower over.
The kitchenette offers the basic facilities to prepare meals: ceramic hob, microwave, small fridge, capsule coffee machine (Nespresso-size pods), kettle and toaster, with a small selection of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
Every apartment has a television and wifi in the comfortable living/dining area, as well as a small dining table.
The ground-floor apartments all have terrace areas easily accessible from within the flat. The upper-floor apartments have terraces located on the roof top.
Some apartments offer sea views, and these are priced accordingly.
The outdoor communal area has a large horseshoe-shaped swimming pool with ladder access and a separate area for small children. It is surrounded by a large sun terrace with sunloungers and dining tables/chairs.
These are eco-friendly apartments – all resort amenities are within walking distance and no hire car is necessary. The apartments do not have air-conditioning.
There are a lot of steps around this apartment complex and it is not recommended for those with mobility difficulties.

Cala Galdana – also known as Santa Galdana – is called the Queen of Menorca’s coves thanks to its spectacular setting. The horseshoe beach of golden sand nestles between tall limestone cliffs and pine trees, which are reflected in the sea. It has grown into a busy resort, ideal for a family holiday and with enough facilities to keep everyone happy. There are several beach bars, a wide range of watersports, mini golf and a small water slide for the children. The beautiful, unspoilt beaches of Cala Trebaluger, Macarella and Mitjana are close by
