Villa Amanjena is an attractive, spacious and elegantly designed Moroccan-style villa offers accommodation for up to 12 within 8000sq m of landscaped Mediterranean gardens, enclosed behind high security automatic gates. The property is approached via a long lavender-lined drive.
In the early, mid and late seasons, renters may book just the three-bedroomed main house, which sleeps six, if desired.

The tastefully furnished property is very light and airy with high vaulted ceilings and mares stonework features.
The main property offers
Three recently renovated large air-conditioned bedrooms with teak fitted wardrobes – each with a full-sized dedicated or ensuite bathroom. The main bedroom includes a king size bed and new ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. The two remaining bedrooms offer flexible sleeping accommodation – ‘superking’ beds or two singles – and each has a recently renovated ensuite shower room.
Living room with comfortable seating and double picture doors which open on to one of the large patios overlooking the garden. It includes a 42in TV with access to some English channels, and DVD. The property has wi-fi internet access.
Kitchen with Smeg cooker and double American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, granite work surfaces and breakfast bar, leading to a split-level dining area that is surrounded by glass sliding doors opening on to the gardens and the pool terrace.
Annexe accommodation includes
A large air-conditioned private suite with its own entrance opening directly on to the pool terrace. The bed is a superking and there is an ensuite bathroom, mini kitchenette and mezzanine galleried sleeping zone with two further single beds. The mezzanine area, which overlooks the main bedroom below, is approached via stairs and has restricted head height and is therefore suitable only for older children – not toddlers or the elderly.
There is an additional small twin bedroom with its own private entrance and ensuite shower room.
At the end of the annexe wing there is the utility/laundry room where the washing machine is situated, as well as a drying area. On passing through the utility/laundry area there is a further compact bedroom with two single beds and an ensuite shower room/WC – ideal for use by staff or accompanying guests.
The villa’s standard equipment includes two travelcots, plus a highchair. All arrivals at this lovely villa will receive a gift from the owner of a pack of local produce – wine, cheese and fruit.
The villa offers comfort, quality and tranquillity. However, despite its amazingly private and peaceful setting, the bars, shops and restaurants of the historic town of Sant Lluis are only a short walk away, and the beaches of Binisafua, Binibeca, Punta Prima and S’Algar are around five minutes by car. Journey time to the airport is approximately 15 minutes, and the capital and port of Mahon are around a 10-minute drive.

About Sant Lluis
Founded in 1761 by the French, Sant Lluis is an attractive small town of narrow streets. A small bypass runs around its perimeter and the town is pretty, quiet and quaint and well worth a visit. Its famous feature is the gaily painted blue and white windmill – the Moli de Dalt. In the main street, Carrer Sant Lluis, the church tower dominates the skyline. Shops in Sant Lluis are traditional and eating out is varied and good value. Highly recommended is La Rueda, just down from the windmill, which offers some of the best tapas in the island. A couple of kilometres outside Sant Lluis, on the Es Castell road, are the wonderful Biniarroca Hotel Rural and St Joan de Binissaida
