Cumbre Mar, Playa Fornells

With jaw-dropping panaoramic views across the bay of Fornells, villa Cumbre Mar offers everything the dedicated holiday scenery watcher could want! It’s a tastefully furnished and decorated three-bedroom, two-bathroom villa situated in a quiet, elevated position above the resort of Playa de Fornells.

A pathway leads to the front door, through which you enter into the villa’s upper level.  A small reception area leads off to an air-conditioned master double bedroom, tastefully decorated with bedside cabinets and lamps, fitted wardrobes and a private terrace with stunning views out to sea. There is another air-conditioned twin bedroom on this level with bedside cabinets and lamps, fitted wardrobes and a free standing fan. The two upstairs bedrooms share a newly refurbished shower room with spacious ‘walk-in’ shower.

From the small reception area, 16 stairs lead to the lower level and the fully fitted kitchen with quality white units, gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, double sink, coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave. Also on this level is a spacious and newly refurbished shower room with large ‘walk-in’ shower. The third bedroom is also on this level – a twin, air-conditioned bedroom with bedside cabinets with lamps, fitted wardrobes and sea views from the window. There is also a ceiling fan in this bedroom.

Across from the kitchen and set on a galleried platform from the living area is the dining area with rectangular wooden dining table and wrought iron padded dining chairs for six. Two windows overlook the sea and surrounding coastline.

Two steps lead from the dining area down to the living area, which again is decorated to a high standard with modern furniture and soft furnishings. There is a three-seater sofa and two armchairs with scatter cushions, a coffee table, side table with lamp, music centre, 50in TV (with some UK channels) and a DVD player. Wifi internet access is provided.

Through french doors is a balcony with patio table and chairs for al fresco dining and another seating area with chairs and small drinks tables. The views from this balcony are truly breathtaking.

Outside the kitchen is a built-in barbecue with a seating area and a casita housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an outside sink and tap.

Stairs lead down to a lower terrace and sunbathing area with a large private swimming pool with Roman steps. The views from this area are again truly splendid.

Access to the villa is via a steep uphill private drive/road, so a hire car is recommended. Because of the elevated situation and steep drops around the pool terrace area, this villa is not recommended for very young children.
