Villa Andreas is a modern split-level property with four air-conditioned bedrooms, a sizeable private pool, lovely gardens and a great location in Sol del Este, the eastern residential area of Es Castell, within walking distance of the town’s many attractions.
On the ground floor level there is a large and comfortably furnished air-conditioned living area with sofas, a dining table and chairs, and an adjacent modern kitchen featuring all the necessary self-catering equipment including oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, a large fridge-freezer and breakfast table with chairs. The kitchen has large sliding glass doors out to a covered terrace dining area.
Villa Andreas has the benefit of superfast fibre-optic broadband wifi and TV/DVD with internet channels, including some English ones. There is a selection of board games.
Three of the villa’s bedrooms are located on the ground floor. All are air-conditioned and have fans and plentiful drawer and hanging space; two of the bedrooms are equipped with a pair of single beds and the other has a double bed.
The three downstairs bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath, wc and separate walk-in shower. There is a washing machine tucked under the stairs.
The air-conditioned master bedroom suite is upstairs and boasts a private balcony offering views out over the town to the sea. The wood panelled sleeping area is equipped with a double bed and there is an integral bathroom with see-through glass-screened shower and wc, as well as twin vanity basins. The master bedroom has a floor-mounted fan in addition.
There’s an impressive and spacious outdoor area for entertaining or relaxing by the 10x4m pool, which has roman-step access. There’s an outdoor shower, barbecue area and a large dining table, chairs and outdoor sofas all under cover and perfect for alfresco dining or comfortable shaded seating area. There are eight sunloungers for guest use, as well as a hammock.
The garden is large enough to allow games of badminton, and a net and racquets are provided. There is off-road parking for one vehicle.
The location of the villa is ideal, within walking distance of Cales Fonts and Es Castell town centre, with their many bars and restaurants including fantastic waterfront dining and stunning views at sunset. The vibrant city of Mahon is a 10-minute drive and the nearest beaches are 15 minutes away by car. There is sea bathing from the platform at Cala Padrera, a four-minute stroll away. Sol del Este has a small supermarket and a bar, both within five minutes walk of the villa.

Es Castell is a lively residential town which features two charming coves. The larger, Cales Fonts, has a huge selection of waterside bars and restaurants, many based in the old caves of the cliff, while the other, Cala Corb, is a working fishing cove. Es Castell is an excellent base for those looking to stay close to town amenities and travel by car to explore the island and its many beaches and attractions
