Offering beautiful views across Mahon Harbour, Villa Los Delfines is a versatile and fastidiously maintained family home ideally located for a great family holiday. The property is available with three bedrooms (outside of the Peak summer weeks) or with a four-bedroom configuration.
Los Delfines is located a short stroll away from the harbour waters and the harbourside bars and restaurants of Mahon are 10/15 minutes by car. The unspoilt beach at Mesquida is a short drive also.
The villa is accessed via short flight of steps from the road, where there is a pull-in for a small car and plentiful on-street parking. The villa’s ground floor comprises:
- A well-equipped kitchen with built-in ceramic hob/oven, microwave oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and access to the outside drying area.
- Living/dining area with built-in seating area, sofa, comfortable chairs, ‘Smart’ TV which can link to the wifi internet, and a dining table with seating for eight. There are two sets of patio doors on to the dining and swimming pool terrace with stunning views of Mahon harbour
- Air-conditioned master double bedroom with ceiling fan and an ensuite shower room. French windows open on to the swimming pool terrace and the beautiful views
- Two identical air-conditioned twin bedrooms, with ceiling fans and french windows on to the pool terrace
- A separate shower room
Los Delfines boasts a beautiful outdoor living space with a spacious sunbathing terrace around the 9x4m private pool with roman-step access, a covered dining terrace with table to seat eight as well as a separate seating area, and a built-in barbecue.
There’s an additional separate shower room at the top of the stairs.
The optional first-floor suite, which can be accessed either via the internal staircase or by outside steps from pool level, comprises an air-conditioned double bedroom with impressive views, a separate bathroom with bath and large walk-in shower, and an air-conditioned ‘chill-out’ room with comfortable seating, TV and small kitchenette. There is also a small balcony leading to a covered seating area.

Our opinion
About Cala Llonga
Cala Llonga is one of the best-kept secrets in all of Menorca. Those in the know wouldn’t stay anywhere else, returning year after year to enjoy the area’s special qualities… Not the least of these qualities is the calm atmosphere that pervades and, of course, the beautiful views on offer.
Cala Llonga is emphatically not a resort area. It is solely residential (with some amenities) and you very much need a car here. Equipped with wheels you can be on the beach in 10 minutes, sitting at a fine harbourside restaurant in under 15 minutes, or soaking up some culture at the historic La Mola fort in less than five minutes.
Cala Llonga boasts one of the island’s largest marinas, choc full of pleasure craft, and down by the water’s edge there’s a children’s playground. There’s also a hotel, the Calallonga Hotel Menorca, which has a bar and restaurant open to non-residents and which offers take-away food.
The nearest beach is the wonderfully unspoilt Sa Mesquida, just the other side of the main road and beyond the quaint fishing village of Mesquida. On the way there you will pass the superb clifftop fish restaurant Cap Roig, which is the closest eatery. From Mesquida you can pick up the Cami de Cavalls, the walking path which encircles the island’s magnificent coastline.
Fifteen minutes by car is the Es Grau nature reserve, with its wide horseshoe-shaped beach and shallow waters, not to mention its beachside café culture.
Mahon harbour is 10-15 minutes away by car, or it can be reached by the excellent Water Taxi Menorca. Home to superyachts, dozens of excellent bars and restaurants, a nightclub and even a casino. From here the bustling centre of Mahon’s old town is accessible by cliffside elevator. The island’s airport (and its nearby cluster of supermarkets) is an easy drive of 15-20 minutes.
