Villas around Addaya

Puerto Addaya is a small, quiet and pleasant resort-cum-residential pueblo, with several bar-restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Although it does not have its own beach (and therefore fewer crowds and commercialisation), it does have a pretty yacht marina and some dramatic views, and an excellent choice of first class beaches and resorts within five or 10 minutes drive, including Arenal d’en Castell, Na Macaret and Playa Fornells.

Son Parc is an attractive urbanisation on Menorca’s beautiful north coast. It has its own lovely horseshoe-shaped sandy beach, Son Saura, which has a large free car park and a beach bar/restaurant offering showers, lavatories and lockers. There are life guards in season and sunbeds and parasols are available to hire, along with pedalos, kayaks and paddleboards. Son Parc boasts a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Son Parc is home to Menorca’s only golf course: its 18 holes are highly rated by players and the club also boasts a driving range and tennis courts.

Na Macaret is a seaside village to the north of Alayor and was one of the first Menorcan resorts. This is very much a ‘local’ resort, popular with holidaymakers from mainland Spain as well as the British. Rows of waterfront cottages look on to the small, sandy beach and a long narrow inlet which is popular with yachtsmen. As well as its small (but rarely crowded) beach, Na Macaret offers a couple of good restaurants and bars.
